How I Tackle My Redness And Irritated Skin

For someone who has always had a problem with redness skin which only gets covered up with foundation the day, I have a few products which I use to help and sooth the skin.

Every night, I use the Boots Expert sensitive micellar water + soothing aloe vera which only costs £2.50 which I use to take my make up off as I wear a lot of foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, the whole lot.  I’ve always found different types of micellar water can leave redness on my skin and since I’ve used this I’ve found my skin less red as it has helped calm it down.

After, this I use the Aloe Calming Toner from The Body Shop which only cost £8 as it has a gentle tone, prime and refreshes your skin with the soothing toner. Aloe is very effective as it removes residual impurities, to refresh and clarify sensitive skin.

After the toner, I use the Aloe Soothing Day Cream instead of the night cream as I use this sometimes in the day and in the night as I find no difference, this will only cost you £13. By using this gentle moisturiser it will with help calm any sensitive and dry skin and is formulated without any fragrance, colour, preservatives, and alcohol, this is the perfect choice for sensitive skin as I have sensitive skin as I have bad breakouts to some products even make up products which I wear daily.

Another product which I use sometimes depending on time is the Sleepy Face by Lush which I have previously talked about in My Top 5 Favourite Lush Products. I use this sometimes in the morning when I have a bath and before I put makeup on as it helps my face stay smooth for a smooth application of foundation. Again it’s £4.95 and it works like a charm.

Another thing I use to repair the skin as I found my nose can be flaky which doesn’t look nice if you wear foundation. I use the Rose Tonic by PIXI which helps the flakiness of skin repair as it naturally soothes the skin in rich nutrients, as this tonic helps to tone, balance pH which minimises redness and calms the skin. It also rehydrates, replenishes and refreshes the skin

That’s all the stuff I use to help my skin, maybe I do a video sometime on my Youtube channel. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Twitter.
